As much as society likes to push people to become homeowners, and keeps emphasizing how important it is to own a property, being a homeowner is also a lot of pain. Especially if you have to rent out the home you own to others. Here at FailBlog, as much as we enjoy judging landlords, we fully understand that being one cannot be easy. That is why sometimes when a dispute arises between a landlord and a tenant, we tend to agree more with the landlord.

Take the homeowners in this Reddit story as an example. They had to deal with an entitled tenant for over 5 years, who was sure that because she was paying rent, she had some kind of ownership over the house. As much as we get that paying rent is annoying, and sometimes feels pointless, the reality is that renting is not the same as owning a property, no matter how hard you try to convince your landlord otherwise.
